Right on my host server along with the hundreds more on my site. which I pay
for. All my music files on my computer are uploaded to my host server and that's
where peoples websites are coming from. So any page off my site on someone else's
that can play my music or anyone else's in that matter either from a music page
or an individual wav file such as the ones on my midi/wav section is indeed
hot linking from the host server. That’s free for them don’t you see
? Where do you think the term hot linking or bandwidth theft stemmed from. Each
and every wav file on my site has been downloaded from public access or made
here on by us and saved to my computer then uploaded to my server. Now what
if I didn’t do any of that. but simply hot linked to another persons wav
website and didn’t pay for any storage, well then I would be the theft
here. So. don’t take my word call any computer website pro and they will
explain it.
The links on the bottom of your page, I just was wondering why if you wanted
a confrontation with me which by the way your not about to get. then why put
some entertainment on your e-mail. Far as that goes if you do not own the web
site http://e-lottoticket.com/God'sGifts/index.html then you just sent me a
hot link to her site. But that don't even bother me if people do that for fun
in e-mail. It’s the ones with websites as I said that use other peoples
work and money to enhance their own free sites.
So please don’t bother me anymore and at least have your facts straight
before you send a note to another webmaster or webmistress

No nobody confused here. Angry?, well not that exactly either. Just showing
people off as bad examples to those of us who run legitimate websites done legally.
Bandwidth theft is a serious problem among us websites that have heavy wav files.
You'r number 2 person that has written me about the Hall of Shame. And the other
one is one of those that is on there, you may see her e-mails to me on there
as well. Not a nice person at all. Now considering there are over 21,000 people
on my counter on my home page alone and who knows how many have just come through
my music pages from search engines, where I really should put a separate counter,
which I assume you did, I figure not too many people are upset with me.
Read my guest book as well. Not to mention the days when my e-mail box is so
full it takes half a day or more to read the wonderful letters of support and
mentions of all the other wonderful places on my site besides the music sections.
I'm not bothered too much any more with the ones that want to nag me for files
by e-mail and never take the time to let me know they have received them, since
my postings. But trust me those who know how to act get my full attention and
any files they need.
Each and every site listed in the Hall of Shame page is, or at one time was
hot linking directly to wav files from my site. Trust me I know what I am doing
and so does my Tech support. If the perps have chosen to correct that or eliminated
their site entirely then they still shall remain so as an example. Hot linking
or band width theft is indeed when someone places the entire url to my wav file
example http://www.simplyangel.com/barroombuddies.htm
on their page or site and it can be played directly from their page or site
at no cost to them. Wav files are very heavy and pull a lot of bandwidth. I
have found some sites with as many as 10 or more songs playing from their sites.
A direct text link to my home page or even to one of my regular individual pages
is in fact an honor and I have had many write me and ask my permission which
is not even necessary. There are hundreds out their doing that. Many just from
my my Tsalagi page and many from my Handy Help Me's But for anyone to direct
link to a music files is not only theft it is illegal. My music/lyrics pages
are embedded wav files and to direct link to them is the same thing, playing
my pages off their site. As you will see most of the sites on there are free
servers My Spaces etc. That’s the whole idea of hot linking is to enhance
their sites and not have to pay for storage. I pay for my own domain and my
domain name and all of us that have music on our sites go through the same thing
and those less fortunate than me that have sites on say Geo Citys for example
really have it bad when their pages actually temporarily shut down from the
amount of bandwidth used.
I just can't believe you would not know all this if you ran a website your self.
No to me it is not a compliment for someone to steal from me or any of my fellow
webmasters. Look at their sites and see what they all say about it.
I am confused though about the links below your signature, the purpose of that?
So rest assured I know what I am doing as do the rest of us legitimate webmasters
and webmistress's paying for our storage to provide entertainment to others.

I happened upon your site through GOOGLE, looking for a certain Toby Keith wav.."We
were in Love". I see an angel who is very mad about some things that maybe
you have confused.
I looked on your "Hall of Shame" page, clicked on two of the links
you have there. Neither one was what you are calling "Hot linking".
Let me explain...Hot linking would be if I was too find the Toby Keith song
on your site and made my wife a cyber card for our anniversary and used code
to draw just the music from your server.....this is hot linking. The two sites
that I went to on your SHAME page were direct links to your pages. No stealing
involved, just a referral to go to YOUR site and a certain page and enjoy YOUR
work. I suggest that on each of your pages you identify them as Simply Angel
Work and have a link to your home (index) page on each. For people to list one
of your songs as a "Favorite" site is really a compliment. In closing
I ran across a few dead links. I know that page building is a work of passion,
I enjoyed it for a long long time and I never ever gave a second thought of
someone recomending my site with a link to one of my songs...the web address
whould show that it's my site, but I always made sure peeps knew where they
were at, with links to my index page on each ....what I called.. song applets...
May GOD give you some peace and help you be patience with the less talented
